Sophie Cowdell
After studying in Manchester then Plymouth and a period working in Cheltenham, I moved back to Taunton in 2007 where I grew up. I am a self-employed facilitator, supporting communities with complex social issues. I have spent 20 years working in community development in the charity and private sectors, and am passionate about the power of a community and what can be achieved when confidence increases. I have a keen interest in inclusion and accessibility in its widest sense and look forward to supporting Holy Trinity share the opportunities and benefits of learning with all its pupils and families.
Hannah Prickett
I'm a paediatric nurse with 15 years experience working in hospitals in London and in the community setting. For the past 5 years I have worked within the Child Looked After team, specialising in the Adoption arena. I have a passion for enabling children to achieve their potential by supporting them and their families in understanding the impact their mental and physical health can impact upon their learning and wellbeing.
I have two children, myself at Holy Trinity, who adore the school and staff at Holy Trinity.
Claire Naylor
I was born here in Taunton and attended Heathfield School. I went on to study Law, English and performing arts at Richard Huish before going off to university. I am a proud mum of four. My eldest, now 25, attended Holy Trinity for a while before we moved away, and my 7-year-old is currently at Holy Trinity in year two. My family have fostered adults and children with special needs since I was 4 years old and as an adult, I went to work in education to help schools create an inclusive environment to enable all children to thrive. I was an inclusion Co ordinator at a local secondary school here in Taunton for years. My passion is supporting children and staff to enable all children to have access to an education. I have qualifications in child psychology, autism, Sign Language, CBT and have experience working with a range of SEND children and adults.
My youngest son is diagnosed non verbal autistic and attends a specialist setting here in Taunton. I started a local CIC in 2024 where I support families of children with SEND and run a weekly clinic to halo provide information and ensure all children are accessing the right support and education.
